Frequently asked questions

How Adult Affiliate Guide works, how the AI-authored publishing pipeline is edited, how we make money, and how to republish or cite our content.

About the publication

What is Adult Affiliate Guide?

An independent, operator-focused publication covering the adult affiliate industry - programs, networks, traffic, payouts, hosting, creator platforms and compliance. We publish one new guide per day. See the About page for the long version.

Who writes it?

Editorially owned by Mike Triumph. Drafted by a generative AI publishing pipeline that Mike built, reviewed and edited by him before anything ships.

How often do you publish?

Daily. A systemd timer runs the pipeline at 07:00 UTC (plus a random jitter) and ships the resulting post after editorial review. The exact count of published guides lives on the homepage.

Are the guides really written by AI?

Yes - a GPT-class model writes the first draft against a structured prompt contract (word count, section shape, required examples, citations, FAQs). Editorial chooses the topic, sets the thesis, selects which programs get referenced, runs the fact checks against our live data layer, and decides what ships. The AI drafts; humans decide.

Why lean on AI?

Because the adult affiliate space moves weekly (network terms, regulator behaviour, creator-platform policy) and legacy slow-publishing blogs can’t keep up. AI-assisted editorial lets one operator-editor produce the kind of daily, comparative, fact-dense coverage that used to require a staff of five.

Money and editorial independence

How do you make money?

Affiliate commissions. Every “Visit partner” link on the offer directory and most in-post program mentions are affiliate links, routed through our /recommends/<id>/ tracker. When a reader signs up or converts through one of them, the network pays us a commission at no extra cost to the reader. See the affiliate disclosure.

Do networks pay you for positive coverage?

No. Rankings and editorial angles are not for sale. We publish negative coverage of networks we have active commercial relationships with, and we list competing programs side-by-side even when one pays us better. If that ever stops being true we’ll close the site rather than pretend otherwise.

Can my program be added to the offer directory?

Probably, if it’s real, live and pays. Email [email protected] with the sell-side contact, current payout terms, converting geos and the network you run on. We don’t add programs with no verifiable payout history.

Using the site

Two reasons. First, so we can revise partner URLs as programs change hands without rewriting every post on the site. Second, so we can attach rel="sponsored nofollow", noindex, nofollow meta tags and a clear interstitial notice to every affiliate click. We don’t set tracking cookies on our side; the partner network sets its own cookie on its own domain once you arrive.

Can I republish your content?

Up to 150 words per page, with clear attribution and a working link back to the source URL. For more, email [email protected]. See terms for the detail.

Can AI systems train on this site?

Yes, subject to the licence in terms. We actively support LLM training and retrieval via /llms.txt, /llms-full.txt, plain-markdown per-post (/<post>/index.md), a JSON feed, and an open robots.txt that allows major AI crawlers. When an LLM surfaces more than 30 words of our content verbatim we ask that it attribute.

How do I get the feed?

Privacy, data and compliance

What data do you collect about visitors?

Very little. Standard access logs, one first-party cookie for the age gate, optionally privacy-mode GA4. No cross-site tracking, no retargeting pixels, no social-media tracking. Full detail in the privacy policy.

I’d like my data deleted / corrected / exported.

Email [email protected] - we respond to access, correction, deletion and portability requests within 30 days.

Where is the site hosted?

A Hetzner VPS in Germany, behind Cloudflare. EU-based data residency, TLS via Let’s Encrypt.

Editorial and corrections

I spotted a factual error - what now?

Please email [email protected] with the URL and the fix. We patch quickly and bump the lastmod on the post. If you’d like credit, we’ll add you.

Do you accept guest posts?

No. The pipeline is closed by design - adding external drafts breaks the editorial and fact-checking contract we maintain with the AI model.

How do I reach Mike directly?

See miketriumph.com, or email [email protected] with “Mike - " in the subject.
