How Adult Affiliate Guide collects, uses and protects information about visitors - in plain English, GDPR-aware.
Adult Affiliate Guide (“we”, “us”, the “site”) is a static publication at https://adultaffiliateguide.com/. This page explains what data we collect when you visit, why we collect it, and what rights you have. It applies to every page on the site.

Short version
- The site is static HTML served from an EU-based VPS behind Cloudflare.
- We do not require an account, and we do not collect names, payment details or precise location from visitors.
- We set one first-party cookie (
aag_age_ok) to remember that you’ve dismissed the age gate. - If analytics is enabled (see below), we use a privacy-respecting analytics setup - no cross-site profiling, no ad-retargeting.
- Outbound links to affiliate partners go through
/recommends/<id>/on our domain. We do not set a tracking cookie for these clicks; the partner network may set its own cookie on the destination domain. - We do not sell, rent or share visitor data with anyone.
What we collect and why
Access logs
Our web server records standard access logs for every request: timestamp, requested URL, HTTP status, referrer, user-agent, approximate IP address. Logs are retained for up to 30 days and used for operational purposes (abuse detection, performance tuning, serving errors). Legal basis: legitimate interest in running a secure service.

Analytics
If GA4 analytics is enabled on this site (see the bottom of any page for the GA4 tag), it runs in IP-anonymisation mode, with advertising features and Google-signals disabled. We use aggregate traffic data only - which pages perform, which referrers send readers, which geographies we serve. We do not build individual user profiles and we do not share data with third-party advertisers.
Contact emails
If you email us at [email protected], we store the thread on our mail provider and respond. We do not add you to a marketing list. Threads are retained for up to 24 months unless you ask us to delete them earlier.
Affiliate click tracking
Every “Visit partner” link on the offer directory and most outbound program mentions in our posts route through https://adultaffiliateguide.com/recommends/<id>/. This endpoint:
- serves an interstitial page with
noindex,nofollow, rel="sponsored nofollow"is attached to the outbound link,- records the click in standard access logs (same as any other page view, no custom cookie),
- hands you off to the partner network, which will typically set its own affiliate-tracking cookie on its own domain so the network can attribute a signup back to us.
We do not sell or share click data with anyone outside the commercial relationship between us and the partner network.
Third parties we rely on
- Hetzner Cloud (Germany) - VPS hosting. Privacy info.

- Google Analytics 4 (if enabled) - aggregate traffic analytics. Privacy info.
- Web3Forms (if a contact form is ever added) - form relay. Privacy info.
We do not use retargeting pixels, social-media tracking pixels or cross-site advertising scripts.
Your rights (EEA, UK, CH and similar)
You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of personal data we hold about you, and to data portability where applicable. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

Children
This site is aimed at professional operators in the adult affiliate industry and is gated as 18+ (21+ where legally required). We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced on the homepage or via the site’s RSS feed. The “Last updated” date at the top always reflects the most recent revision.
